A huge THANK YOU and immense appreciation needs to be offered to those Trinity High School students that selflessly, patiently and honorably volunteered to be participants for the THS IB Psychology students completing their IB Internal Assessment. This IA involved the replication of a known cognitive experiment from the IB studies and demanded up to 20 participants per experiment-around 200 students volunteered.
Every IA took place after school and took from 1 to 2 hours to complete. These THS students that volunteered gave their time and attention with no complaints or criticisms. Their positive attitudes and excellent participation was a blessing for the IB researchers. Positive data, academic integrity, and contributing to the possible attainment of the IB Diploma were but a few of the tremendous contributions afforded by these giving volunteers.
As proud as I am of my students for their work on their IA's, I am so much more impressed at the care and concern provided by their peers through their volunteering to be participants in these Internal Assessment projects. Our kids are truly something special!
